Estelle Costanzo (Italy/France) is an harpist, active as a performer, teacher and producer of interdisciplinary projects in the field of the contemporary music and the music education. 

She studied harp with Gabriella Bosio at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Turin, with Chantal Mathieu at the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne, with Sarah O'Brien at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel and with Frédérique Cambreling at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. During her studies she was a recepient of scholarships from the foundations Cassa di Risparmio of Turin, Nicati-de Luze and Irène Dénéréaz of Lausanne. She attended masterclasses with Marie-Pierre Langlamet, Annie Lavoisier, Brigitte Sylvestre. Estelle obtained a Master specialized in contemporary music at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel and a Diplôme d'Artiste Interprète in contemporary performance at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. She is a member of the Lucerne Festival Academy 2013.

Estelle won several prizes, including the 2nd prize of the competition for contemporary music “Nicati” in Switzerland in 2015 and the 2nd prize of the 35th International Competition “Valentino Bucchi - The harp in the XX and XXI centuries” in 2012 in Rome. 

Estelle is harpist of the Basel Sinfonietta and a founding member of the ensembles for contemporary music « neuverBand » and « Too hot to hoot?». She performes regularly with different orchestras and ensembles: Ensemble Intercontemporain, Berner Symphonieorchester, Ensemble Phoenix, Collegium Novum Zürich, Ensemble Recherche and Ensemble Proton. As a soloist and as a chamber musician she was invited in prestigious festivals: Schwetzinger SWR Festspiele, ManiFeste IRCAM, MITO Settembre Musica, Lucerne Festival, Archipel, Münchener Biennale, Festival Messiaen, Festival Musica and Festival Zeiträume.

She is involved in several interdisciplinary art projects connecting music with other performing arts, both as a producer and as a performer. In this field she collaborated with Theater Basel and the Balletto Teatro di Torino and co-founded the “ensemble viceversa”. In the field of the music education she performed in several productions: HEROÏCA (Production of Lucerne Festival - Junge Ohren Preis 2014), Senegalliarde (Production of Lucerne Festival, Schungfabrik Luxembourg and Jeunesse Österreich), LabYrinth (Production fo Basel Sinfonietta) and is a member of Gare des Enfants in Basel. 

Estelle is a devoted pedagogue, employed as a harp teacher in canton Zürich and Solothurn, and lives in Basel.
